Marvel Rivals Ignite is proud to introduce the MRIG 2026 Competitive Team Certification Program, officially recognizing competitive teams across all levels of the Marvel Rivals ecosystem.
Certified teams will receive exclusive in-game benefits — a permanent mark of your team's identity and place in the Marvel Rivals competitive community.
In-Game Benefits for Certified Teams
- Official Verified Badge — displayed on your in-game team profile.
- Protected Team Name — reserved in an exclusive registry that cannot be claimed by others.
Who Can Apply
Competitive Teams
- Participated in MRC, MRIG-sanctioned events, or official ecosystem competitions within the past 6 months
- Professional organization rosters — main teams, secondary rosters, and academy/development teams
Collegiate & Campus Organizations
- University esports teams, campus clubs, student associations, or school-affiliated esports organizations
- Must have verifiable institutional affiliation and documented activity within the past semester
Community & Creator-Led Teams
- Stable teams organized by content creators or community figures
- Must demonstrate consistent long-term activity — one-time or temporary rosters are not eligible
How to Apply
Prepare the following before submitting your application:
1. Team name, abbreviation, and logo
2. Proof of competition participationorproof of organizational affiliation
3. Contact information for your designated team representative
Applications will not be approved if teams cannot demonstrate eligibility, use names or logos that infringe on existing trademarks, or have active conduct violations on record.
MRIG reserves the right to revoke certification at any time for violations including cheating, account sharing, or unsportsmanlike conduct.

Application Window
MRIG Team Certification applications open on the 1st of each month and close on the 20th.
- Applications submitted after the 20th will be held for the following month's review cycle.
- Results for each cycle will be communicated to all applicants by the last business day of the month.
- Teams that are not approved in one cycle may reapply in a future window, provided eligibility conditions are met.
