Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026 Stage 1: Your Ultimate Guide
Following a Preseason defined by breakout performances, unexpected upsets, and non-stop action, Marvel Rivals IGNITE 2026 now moves into Stage 1. With the latest balance updates reshaping the meta, teams adapting their strategies, and players hitting peak form after weeks of competition, the stage is set for an even fiercer battle. Stage 1 begins on May 21 — and the intensity is about to reach a whole new level.
Schedule
Stage 1 will be played across two phases:
- Group Stage: May 21 – June 7
- Playoffs: June 25 – July 5
Format & Seeding
Seeding for Stage 1 is determined by Preseason results.
AMER and EMEA will each send eight teams to their respective Stage 1 Playoffs, while CN will send six teams to the Stage 1 Playoffs. For full rules and detailed format information, please refer to the official Marvel Rivals IGNITE 2026 Stage 1 Rulebook.
PAC Region Format
In the PAC region, Stage 1 features separate Group Stage tracks for OCE and ASIA.
- OCE: Top 2 teams advance
- ASIA: Top 6 teams advance
In PAC, 6 teams from ASIA and 2 teams from OCE will qualify for the PAC Playoffs.
To ensure a fair competitive environment across regions, the PAC Playoffs will be held offline, with the location to be announced.
TOURNAMENT PRIZE POOL
Stage 1 features a total prize pool of $650,000. A detailed regional prize distribution is available in the graphic below.
TOURNAMENT VERSION AND MAP
As part of the Stage 1 update, a new map — New York: Lower Manhattan — will be introduced, adding new strategic depth and gameplay dynamics to the competition. The Group Stage will be played on Season 8, while the Playoffs will be played on Season 8.5 across all regions.
Mid-Season Finals Spots
Stage 1 serves as the sole qualification route to the Mid-Season Finals.
A total of 10 teams will qualify:
- AMER: 3 teams
- EMEA: 3 teams
- PAC: 2 teams
- CN: 2 teams
With limited spots available, every match in Stage 1 carries direct implications for MSF qualification.
